I've painted many a gorgeous pooch during my art career and been very lucky to have so many lovely and loyal repeat customers, this makes my passion for painting even more satisfying, And keeps me busy!.

I always paint my black labradors without actually using black paint, black paint can deaden a painting, therefore I like to create my own darks using varying tones to build beautiful layers of darkness, this technique creates texture and sheen.

Bella is such a sweet girl and was a joy to paint, she's a guide dog with a gentle nature and I think that shows in her portrait.
