A 2024 commissioned painting that I've been working on for a very lovely and patient customer, they wanted me to paint a memory/vibe from their time spent in tenby this last summer.

I was a little nervous doing this seascape painting initially,  because I typically work in watercolours, rather than acrylics and oils, but I went for it and ended up enjoying the entire process, it also awakened a desire to do more  canvas work and start a whole collection of seascape paintings, hence since the summer I've been enjoying revisiting the ocean and studying coastlines.
My desire is to capture mood and atmosphere within these new pieces, not just a picture of the sea, instead a want to evoke the changes of the surf and also focus on the light.
